With only vague memories of the Jason Robards, Jose Quintero Broadway revival of Touch of the Poet, it was quite interesting that O’Neill’s work emerges again in this time to be reckoned with. That is the value of great art and Eugene O’Neill. Thank you Irish Rep and Ciarin O’Reilly for reminding all of us in and out of the Theatre of his profound resonance again and again.
