Labor History: 1910-1919. Disastrous Fire’s and Strikes; Newark, Manhattan, Lowell, Paterson as our almost forgotten roots.

Newark, NJ was the site of the first disastrous Factory Fire in 1910 before the 1911 Triangle Shirtwaist Fire in NYC. There is a notable 2014 memorial honoring the workers who died in this Newark Fire. This site would be a major stop part of our walking tour to honor “organized labor” In Newark.

LABOR HISTORY in with our program on the Newark Factory Fire in 2010, Triangle Shirtwaist Fore in 1910-1919 Paterson Strikes with Author Daniel P. Quinn.

We presented programs at Fair lawn Library on Lyons and City of Paterson History . We have Fall dates open to also present a reprise of his NPR Radio interview at a venue with your school or program on Labor history with book signings.
